How to get rid of Pop-ups in XP

In Microsoft XP there is a flaw that allows unscrupulous people to send you pop advertisements which are very annoying this tip will get rid 60 to 70 percent of them.

1. Double left  click on start button.
2. Double right click on my computer icon.
3. Double left t click on manage.
4. Double left t click on services and applications.
5. Double left click services.
6. Scroll down on left pane to messenger.
7. Right click on it.
8. Go to the radio button on the right side of startup type and select disabled.
9. Left click on Apply

And you will get rid of 60 to 70 percent of your pop-ups.

To minimize the rest open up Internet Explorer then go to    http://toolbar.yahoo.com/  these tips will get rid of most of your annoying pop-ups.
